DDMS Step Up Team

Students on the step team will learn step routines, the origin of step and some dance moves. We will perform at pep rallies and some home basketball games. The program will last for the whole year.

The Step team is for 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. If there are more than 20 – 25 students interested, tryouts will be held. The team will practice once a week, on Wednesdays, in Ms. Lusk’s room - number 500. Students with frequent ISS, Detention or Suspension will not be able to participate. (This requirement will start once the letter is signed)

Look for letters coming home mid-September. Students will be required to have completed forms regarding transportation. Students must be picked up by 5:00 pm or, for students that do not have their own transportation, an after school activity bus is available to take students home at 5:00p.m. (activity bus information).
